Srinagar, Jun 05 : A 4-year-old boy was killed by a leopard in Zamboora Pattan area in Uri in North Kashmir Baramulla district, an official said.
An official told that a leopard attacked a minor boy identified as Junaid Ahmed Qurashi, son of Zameer Ahmad Qurashi near his house this afternoon.
“The minor boy was dragged away by the leopard to nearby bushes,” the official said, adding, “Soon after receiving the report Police and Army launched a rescue operation and after almost two hours of searches found the boy with injuries.”
“The boy was taken to SDH Uri, where he was declared dead on arrival by the doctors,” added the official.
