Gurez:- Indian Army on today carried out a Khairiyat patrol campaign for Bagtore Gurez villagers amid heavy snowfall in the area near Line of Control Indian Army’ Rana Battalion Bagtore carried out khariyat patrol and medical check up of villagers in extreme cold weather conditions to check about their well being as well as to provide basic healthcare and medical supplies at their doorstep in this remote location. Bagtore Gurez a remote village very close to the line of control in Bandipora district of North Kashmir The Patrol enquured about the well being of the area in the present high snow levels and extremely low temperatures. It went from house to house and reassured the villagers of the all help.and support whenever required. Indian Army has started Khairiyat Patrol campaign for the people in Jammu and Kashmir. Under its campaign, army personnel are reaching far-flung areas. During heavy snowfall in remote areas of the Gurez valley lose contact with the district headquarters for atleast six months In such a situation, people living here are being contacted through Khariyat Petrol. The villagers appreciated the efforts of the Indian army as many of them are unable to go to nearest medical center due to harsh weather conditions.
