Bandipora: J&K Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Darakshan Andrabi on Tuesday visited “Bhag-e Asham” a property of Waqf in Asham Sonawari of Bandipora District.
Darakshan Andrabi too stock of the orchards of Waqf there and the condition of the property.
It’s pertinent to mention that “Bhag-e Asham” consisting of hundreds of acres of orchard land is a property of Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board how’ver the orchards aren’t in good condition and haven’t been maintained.
While speaking to media Dr Darakshan Andrabi said that the property shall be maintained well now onwards and the orchards will be converted into modern high density garden. She also assures construction of guest house and washrom complex shall also be constructed inside the Waqf orchard moreover it will be equipped with all relivant facilities.
While responding to a question of being criticised by different political parties Dr Darakshan Andrabi said that she feels good when she is being criticised because criticism for construction shapes her personality and motivates her to do more good for the Waqf Board.
