BANDIPORA, June 25: A house was completely gutted in a fire incident in the Safapora area of Ganderbal district but there was no loss of life reported in the incident.
The fire broke out into the house of Muhammad Sultan Khan of Pehlipora Mohallah of Safapora village area in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday afternoon.
Giving details, locals said that the cause of fire was due to the electric short circuit.
But with the timely intervention of Army’s 13RR soldiers, the fire was doused in time and fire was stopped from spreading to other houses.
People said that the army along with the locals assisted in safe evacuation of family members thus preventing any loss of life.
The quick reaction by the Army helped dousing the fire, thus preventing it from spreading.
The Army played an important role in evacuation of people and their valuable belongings.
People hailed the efforts of the army in protecting the life and property of the people.
