Bandipora, Jan 11: A residential house was partially gutted in a fire mishap that broke out in Inderkoot Sumbal area of Bandipora district on Thursday evening
Reports said that the fire broke out in a residential house belonging to Mohd Aslam Najar .son of Mohd Afzal Najar resident of Inderkoot Sumbal.
The fire tenders reached to the spot and doused the flames and prevented the fire from spreading to nearby localities
The residential house suffered partial damage however no reports of any loss of life or injury to anyone so far, property worth lakhs of rupees got damaged in the mishap.
The cause of fire is being ascertained but apparently seems to have been caused by electric short Circuit.
Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the incident and has started investigation into the matter.
