Ramban, Oct. 16: One person was died and another injured in a road accident in Ramban village of the Jammu region on Monday, officials said.
An official told that in an unfortunate road mishap that took place in Harwari, two people were injured.
However, both were taken to a nearby hospital, where one was declared dead on arrival while the other was referred to District Hospital Ramban for advanced treatment.
Block Medical Officer (BMO) Dr. Iqbal Malik also confirmed this road mishap and identified the deceased as Syed Anwar, son of Mohd Anwar Katoch (18) of Sujmatha Halwagen.
The officer identified the injured as Bahar Ahmad, son of Ghulam Rasool Dang (driver) (30) of Tajnihal.
The officer further said the injured person is undergoing treatment and he is stable .
