Srinagar, Oct 16 : The police in Srinagar district of central Kashmir have apprehended three local miscreants involved in gate-crashing, creating a ruckus, and misbehaving with women during a marriage function in the city.
A police officer said the miscreants, identified as Tahir Shiekh, Mehrajuddin Shiekh, and Danish Qayoom, all residents of Gath colony, were promptly arrested following the incident.
According to a police official, the case has been registered under FIR no. 139/2023 U/S 147, 323, 354, 392, 427 IPC at the Safakadal police station.
He said police have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter to ensure justice is served.
