Srinagar, August 10: A grenade blast injured three people including two civilians and a soldier in Athlan Gadole area of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The blast occured during a cordon and search operation in the village.
According to police, acting on a specific input a joint party of Indian Army and police launched CASO and when the forces were moving towards a particular place, the hiding militants lobbed a grenade in which two civilians and a soldier was injured. They were immediately rescued and shifted to a local hospital where the condition of these injured is said to be stable.
