Srinagar, Feb. 03: In a recent incident near Lasjan bridge, an e-Rickshaw plunged into the River Jehlum. The driver, identified as Umer Ahmad Dar from SD colony Batmaloo, Srinagar, miraculously survived the mishap. The incident occurred late in the evening, and the rescue operation is currently underway.
Authorities reported that the e-Rickshaw has been retrieved from the water by ASI SDRF Abdul Rashid and his team. Fortunately, the driver is safe, but it is unclear whether the vehicle was empty or had passengers on board during the incident. A thorough search operation is in progress to gather more information.
