Srinagar, May 01: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Srinagar, in partnership with the Srinagar Municipal Corporation, commemorated International Labour Day at the ADR Centre, District Court Complex Srinagar, with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event, held under the guidance of Jawad Ahmed, Chairman of District Legal Services Authority Srinagar, aimed to underscore the significance of labour rights and raise awareness about the importance of the day.
Jahangir Ahmed Bakshi, Secretary, DLSA Srinagar, highlighted the need to promote and protect the rights of workers, emphasizing the importance of treating them with dignity and respect.
Iram Aziz, Official, DLSA Srinagar, emphasized the vital role of labor laws in safeguarding workers’ rights and promoting fairness in the workplace.
Sehar Nazir, Assistant Legal Aid Defence Counsel, DLSA Srinagar, shed light on the objectives of International Labour Day, emphasizing the promotion of fair labor practices, improvement of working conditions, and the provision of social security for workers.
