Srinagar, July 6: A literary event was organized by Cultural and science foundation Kashmir in the conference hall of Manasbal area of Ganderbal district of central Kashmir which was attended by a galaxy of individuals.
Professor Nasir Mirza, former head of Media Education Research Centre (MERC) Kashmir university chaired the event whereas president of the foundation Shahbaz Hakabari, secretary Zareefa Jan and Dr Ali Muhammad Nishter were present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Mirza released a book “Cham Na Keh Nas Garnd Yewaan”, written by Shahbaz Hakabari and the event was hosted by Ali Muhammad Nishter, who highlighted the objectives of the foundation.
The event also witnessed a panel discussion and multi-lingual mushaira.
Those who participated in the event included eminent writers of Kashmir valley Nessar Naseem, Gulshan Budrani, Raheem Rizwan and Shabnam Shabir.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Nasir Mirza appreciated the foundation for organizing the event regarding the literature and culture and hoped that such events will be held in the future also.
