Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir has got 26 medals in senior national kick boxing championship held in Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar city of Punjab and got 11th overall rank.
Players have made the union territory proud by getting five Gold, six silver and 15 bronze medals in this championship.
This is the best performance of Jammu and Kashmir in the kick boxing national championship so far.
Those who made J&K proud and won gold included Munniya Sharma, who won two gold in two events, Dheeraj Pratap Singh, Aanshika Gupta and Monika Bhan won one gold each.
Also some products of Ali’s Sports academy have made the Bandipora proud by winning medals in the senior national championship, which included Masib Gulzar, Mudassir Rashid and Saeed Ali.
J&K is making its name in every field and in the sports also this UT is giving tough time to players from other states and UTs.
