Srinagar: In a significant political development, Yasir Reshi, former Member of the Legislative Council (MLC), has officially dissociated himself from the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference (PC). Reshi expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the opportunities and invaluable experiences gained during his tenure with the party.
In a statement, Reshi described his decision to leave the People’s Conference as a difficult one, acknowledging the profound impact the party and its leadership had on his political journey. He specifically highlighted the guidance and mentorship of PC Chief Sajad Lone, whom he regards as a mentor and a brotherly figure.
“I express my deepest gratitude to Sajad Lone Sahib, who has treated me like a younger brother throughout my political journey. The wisdom and support I received under his leadership have been instrumental in shaping my political career,” Reshi stated.
