Police Crack Down On Drug Peddlers
As the drug peddling business is spreading in the valley the crackdown of the Jammu and Kashmir police is also getting tougher against these drug peddler’s.
We all are well aware that the number of drug addicted youth is increasing day by day in Jammu and Kashmir, especially in the valley, which is not good for the society although there are reports that maximum number of these drug addicted are youth and young girls are also included.
We are also aware of how many homes have been destroyed by this scourge of drugs, while many youths have killed their own parents and many youths have succumbed to this scourge of drugs. People lost their lives, many cases of looting have occurred. They broke into the houses of many senior citizens and attacked and looted these senior citizens.
If the parents had monitored their children on time maybe this heresy would not have been known in the society today. Every parent should be rich whether or not the poor wish that their children live their lives as good citizens and support their parents, but by making empty wishes here their children cannot become good citizens nor can they become their support but with good education and training, good upbringing and good care their wish can be fulfilled.
It is the duty of parents to keep an eye on their children where their children go, with whom they go, with whom they have more contact on the mobile phone and investigate in their own way. It has also been seen that in your neighborhood if there is a young person who is addicted to drugs when someone complains about this to the parents of this young person there are some parents who rebuke the complainants, saying “You are my child.” Defamation and such behavior of these parents gives encouragement to this drug addicted youth due to which he deteriorates instead of improving and ruins the lives of many other youth along with him.
How nice it would be if a parent of a child who receives such a complaint about their child would pay attention to their child and investigate the complaint thoroughly instead of messing with the complainant.
Their child’s life would have been saved and the lives of the young people in the neighborhood would also have been saved.
Now the second aspect is that WHERE DO THESE DRUG PEDDLER’S COME FROM’? Have these drug peddlers taken the contract to destroy the society? Who is backing them? Although the Jammu and Kashmir Police is tightening its grip against these drug peddler’s day by day on the other hand we are getting to hear and read the news every day that the police have arrested so many drug peddler’s from such and such place today.
Although among these drug peddlers Women are also in the forefront and many women have been put behind bars by the police. However in order to eradicate this drug-like innovation from the society, the police also seized the properties of many notorious drug peddlers under the NDPS Act and frozen around 100 bank accounts which is a commendable step towards rooting out this drug innovation.
There is an initiative, but still these kinds of unscrupulous people will not stop in our society until the public exposes those who support these drug peddlers. Therefore, the public has a great responsibility to keep the society clean and free from this innovation.
We should not ignore the fact that the brave police of Jammu and Kashmir are working day and night to keep our society clean and free from this innovation of drugs. Salute to the brave police but if you really want to keep your society clean from this menace of drugs then let us all come together and extend our support to Jammu and Kashmir Police to root out this innovation.
