Weather Update for Jammu and Kashmir

Kashmir Region:
Weather activities are expected to pick up from tomorrow with major activity expected on 05 & 06 July. Generally, light to moderate showers are only expected, however, in a few spots intense showers can’t be ruled out.

There is no flood threat. Although, there is a risk of flash flooding (few spots only) due to intense showers (middle & higher reaches, particularly in South Kashmir, are most vulnerable).

Jammu Region:

Weather activities will pick up from tomorrow with major impact expected between 04 July night & 06 July.
There will be a risk of intense showers/ cloudbursts in some areas and may lead to flash flooding.
High Risk Time will be:
04 July night to 05 July morning, &, 05 July night to 06 July.
