Two Israeli Air Force technicians are facing espionage charges after allegedly passing sensitive military information to Iran, according to Israeli media reports.
The suspects, stationed at the Tel Nof Airbase, were detained for several weeks as part of an ongoing counterintelligence investigation. Authorities allege that the two individuals, who worked on F-15 fighter jets, leaked classified technical documents, including engine diagrams, and shared photographs in violation of strict military censorship rules.
Officials believe the information could have compromised operational security. Investigators are also examining whether additional personnel at the base were aware of the activities but failed to report them.
The case comes amid heightened tensions between Israel and Iran, with authorities warning that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found aiding hostile entities.
Prosecutors are expected to formally indict the suspects soon, with the possibility that one of them could face more severe charges, including treason.
