Baramulla: In a heart-touching gesture on its first business anniversary, T99 Bakes, a rising homemade bakery from Sopore, conducted a volunteer bakery workshop at the Blind/Deaf & Dumb School in Baramulla, spreading sweetness far beyond cakes.
Founded in 2024 by Tabia Firdous, a 23-year-old professional food technologist, T99 Bakes has swiftly earned a reputation for premium quality, hygienic, and French-inspired homemade bakery products. Tabia, who holds a BTech in Food Technology from Bhai Gurudas Group of Institutions, Punjab, has previously worked with esteemed establishments including DMS Delhi, The Grand Lalit Srinagar, Aqua Impex Foods, and Kamal Food Mills.
Despite being a young entrepreneur, Tabia’s mission with T99 Bakes was clear from day one to deliver top-tier, hygienic bakery items to Sopore and beyond. Within just a year, her products have reached various corners of Kashmir, Delhi, Hyderabad, Punjab, and Bangalore, earning a 100% 5-star customer rating.
Marking the bakery’s first milestone, Tabia chose to celebrate not with promotions, but with purpose by organizing a skill-building session for differently-abled students. The workshop aimed to inspire confidence and hope among the children, showing them they too can master skills, become independent, and dream big.
The event was graced by the President, Principal, and General Secretary of the school, who deeply appreciated the initiative. Speaking at the event, school representatives lauded Tabia’s thoughtful contribution and praised her for choosing to celebrate success by giving back to the community in such a meaningful way.
“This day was not just a celebration of one year in business it was a celebration of humanity, inclusion, and vision” said Tabia after the session.
