Ganderbal, 02 June: One person is missing and two tourists were rescued after a portion of the Thajwas glacier fell on them in Sonamarg area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, on Sunday afternoon.
Officials said the incident occurred while tourists were enjoying their time at the glacier.
The tourists were rescued, but the search for the missing local person is ongoing.
Authorities have not yet released further details about the incident or the identity of the missing person.
