Wagoorah-Kreeri: Amid rising concerns due to the recent flood-like situation, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Wagoorah-Kreeri, Irfan Hafeez Lone, undertook an extensive tour of the flood-affected areas today. The legislator visited Haritar, Hygam, and adjoining villages, where he personally interacted with the residents, listened to their grievances, and assured them of his unwavering support in this challenging time.
While addressing the locals, Irfan Hafeez Lone stated: “You are not alone in this hour of difficulty. Whenever and wherever you feel the need for help, I will always stand by you. Together, we will overcome this situation with courage and resilience.”
During his tour, Lone assessed the ground realities and instructed the concerned departments to remain fully alert and extend timely relief to the people. He emphasized that quick measures must be taken to ensure the safety of lives and properties, while also urging officials to keep essential supplies, medical facilities, and emergency services readily available in case the situation worsens.
The MLA also appreciated the patience and unity of the residents, who, despite facing hardships, have shown remarkable strength and cooperation with the administration. He added that such testing times highlight the importance of collective responsibility, and assured that the government would continue to monitor the situation closely to provide every possible assistance.
