Sopore, Nov. 22 : Muncipal Council Sopore on Wednesday sealed a shop for not paying rent to the department.
An official told that a team of MC squard, under the supervision of a tax inspector, sealed a shop at the bus stand in the town for failing to pay the rent to the department.
The officer said that the tenants were already informed through the medium of the final notice served by the council; however, in response, the said notice showed a very poor response.
The officer further appealed to the tenants to pay pending rent to the department at the proper time or else be ready for the consequences.
