The visiting team inspected various far-flung and remote areas of the constituency, including Kangripora, Suresh, Nasarpora, Checkpora, Dadoora, Poshkar, Khag, and other adjoining villages of Khansahib Tehsil

The objective of the visit was to take stock of ground realities, identify shortcomings in water supply schemes, and ensure timely redressal of public grievances related to drinking water.
During their interaction with local residents, the people highlighted their long-pending demands and expressed optimism that the visit would pave the way for sustainable solutions. Residents conveyed hope that they would soon receive access to fresh, clean, and adequate drinking water, which has been a major concern in many of these areas for years.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Engineer PHE Kashmir, Rakesh Kumar Gupta, assured the public that all genuine grievances pertaining to drinking water supply would be addressed in a phased and time-bound manner. He stated that the department is actively working to strengthen infrastructure and ensure the availability of safe and potable drinking water across all affected villages.

MLA Khansahib Saif-ud-Din Bhat reiterated his unwavering commitment to public welfare and emphasized that providing pure drinking water to every household remains one of his top priorities.

He assured that concrete and practical steps are being taken to bring all uncovered and neglected villages under reliable water supply schemes and that no area of the constituency will be left unattended.

The visit was widely appreciated by the local population, who welcomed the initiative and expressed confidence that their issues would now be resolved on a priority basis, marking a positive step towards improved public service delivery in the region.
