Srinagar, Oct 30: A non-local labourer was on Monday afternoon shot dead by suspected militants in Nowpora Parigam village in Newa area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
An official told the man identified as Mukesh Kumar from UP was shot at by militants in Nowpora Parigam Pulwama.
He said that labourer was ushed to the hospital for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
“Terrorists fired upon one labourer identified as Mukesh of U.P in Tumchi Nowpora area of #Pulwama, who later on succumbed to his injuries. Area #cordoned off. Further details shall follow.” Kashmir zone police posted on ‘X’
