Individual leaps into Jhelum River, rescue efforts initiated

Srinagar, Feb 29: An individual, yet to be identified, plunged into the Jhelum River near the Safa Kadal area of Srinagar on Thursday, prompting swift rescue measures, officials reported.

According to an official source, a male of unknown identity leaped into the River Jhelum in the vicinity of Safa Kadal Bridge.

Efforts to rescue the individual are currently underway at the site.
