Budgam: An Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Lab was formally inaugurated at BMS Poshkar in Zone Khag, District Budgam, on Monday a significant step toward strengthening digital education in the region.
The initiative was carried out in collaboration with Elfa Organisation and was attended by senior officials, including the Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Joint Director Central, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Budgam, and the Incharge Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Khag.
During the visit, the dignitaries inspected the newly established ICT Lab and expressed satisfaction over the facilities created. They appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Head of Institution (HOI) and the staff of BMS Poshkar for their commitment to enhancing the school’s digital infrastructure.
While interacting with the staff, the Director School Education Kashmir lauded the institution for setting a benchmark within Zone Khag. He emphasized the importance of replicating such initiatives across other schools to promote modern, technology-driven education. He also assured that all genuine demands of the institution would be addressed on priority to ensure sustained development and improved quality of education.
The event concluded on a positive note with a formal vote of thanks, acknowledging the support and encouragement extended by the visiting dignitaries and the valuable collaboration of Elfa Organisation in successfully establishing the ICT Lab.
