Srinagar, June 30 : A husband and wife duo were critically injured in a road accident in Markundal area of North Kashmir Bandipora district on Friday.
An official told that a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK05J-8057 and Scooty bearing registration number JK16-5955 collided each other at Markundal Bandipora.
In the incident Scooty rider, Ab Khaliq Ganie son of Ab Ahad Ganie resident of Takanwari Srinagar and his wife, Hafeeza Begum received critical injuries.
He said that both was promptly shifted to JVC Hospital Srinagar for treatment.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation.
