GDC BARAMULLA ORGANIZES A DAY-LONG PROGRAMME AND TAKES PLEDGE FOR VIKSIT BHARAT SANKALP YATRA

Baramulla, Dec 11: Government Degree College, Baramulla, initiated a comprehensive day-long programme dedicated to Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, culminating in the active participation of the staff in the online webcast addressed by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on Monday.

The programme was attended by all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. The inauguration of the event was led by Dr. Mohammad Farooq Rather, the Principal of GDC Baramulla, and Prof. Tariq Chalkoo, Staff Secretary, and HOD Physics.

The occasion brought together both teaching and non-teaching staff in a unified effort towards the shared cause of national development.

Expressing pride in the college’s commitment, Dr. Mohammad Farooq Rather stated, “Our collective pledge reflects the dedication of GDC Baramulla to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s development. As educators, we understand the role we play in shaping the future.”

Prof. Tariq Chalkoo emphasized, “This event signifies our commitment to a future where India stands as a developed and empowered nation. Every staff member, teaching or non-teaching, is an integral part of this vision.”

Dr. Syed Mutahar Aaqib, Coordinator of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell(IQAC) of the college, the staff members took a solemn pledge of Viksit Bharat.

The ceremony symbolized a unified commitment to actively contribute to the nation’s progress and development.
The inclusivity of all staff members in the event underscored a comprehensive engagement of the entire college community in the journey towards Viksit Bharat. The active involvement of GDC Baramulla staff in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra webcast showcased a shared commitment and responsibility towards the betterment of the country.
