Jammu, Oct. 26 : Pakistan has violated the ceasefire agreement yet again, igniting tensions along the border. The recent breach led to an immediate response by the Border Security Force (BSF) in the Arnia Sector of Jammu on Thursday evening.
Official sources told that both sides are currently engaged in a heavy exchange of fire, marking a concerning escalation of the situation.
They said the precise motive behind this firing has not been determined as of now, leading to ongoing efforts to gather further information.
The situation remains tense as both sides continue to exchange gunfire, he said.
Pertinently, police said on Thursday that five Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants were killed in a joint operation along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Machil sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
