Baramulla, May 21 – A 55 year’s old man drowned in the Jhelum River in the Kakarhaman area of Baramulla district on Monday evening,
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Subhan Dhobi a resident of Kakar hamam Baramula.
A police officer said that that a rescue operation is in progress to recover the body.
Teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Jammu and Kashmir Police alongside locals are on the job to recover the body from river jehlum.
