District Ganderbal TenniKoit Championship 2024 concluded, Promoting Youth Sports and Development.

Ganderbal: The Tennikoit Association Ganderbal today concluded the District Ganderbal TenniKoit Championship, at Hattrick public school Ganderbal which started from 06th September 2024 to 07th September 2024.

The Event Witnessed an impressive turnout of approximately 22 teams, including both boys and girls from all age categories representing different schools and Clubs of district Ganderbal . At the end of the event, Hattrick public school came over all winners in all three categories of Mini Sub-Junior Boys. IN junior girls, Ali’s Sports Academy came out on top and Salvatore international school were declared as runnerups.

In junior boys Ali’s sports academy came on top with Hattrick public school as runnerups. In Senior category, Ali’s Sports Academy came on top as winners and Tennikoit Ganderbal club came as runnerups. Many athletes in this event were selected for the upcoming UT level Tennikoit Championship 2024 which is scheduled later this year. The Tennikoit Association Ganderbal has a recognized governing body dedicated to the promotion and development of Tennikoit in the region. Committed to nurturing young talent and fostering a culture of sportsmanship, the association organizes various events, championships, and training programs to propel the growth of Tennikoit in district Ganderbal.

The closing ceremony of the event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests and dignitaries. Chief Guest Of the event was padamshree Awardee Shri Fasil ali dar.Accompanying him was the guest of honor Vice chair person Hattrick public school Ganderbal.The occasion was further honored by the presence of president Tennikoit association Ganderbal and other notable personalities.

While addressing the participants, chief guest, emphasized the global popularity of Tennikoit as a sport. He expressed his delight at the decision to hold the championship in Hattrick public school Ganderbal recognizing its potential to encourage youth participation in sports and steer them away from negative influences of drugs and other social evils. Chief Guest, conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to the organizing committee for their exceptional efforts in hosting this event.

Furthermore He extended his appreciation to all the coaches and participants who enthusiastically partook in the championship. He acknowledged the excellent performance of Ganderbal in the realm of sports and believed that this championship would serve as an inspiration to other districts. Furthermore, he assured unwavering support from their side for such events, fostering an environment conducive to the holistic development of young athletes across Jammu and Kashmir.

While addressing the even Waseem ahmad shah sectary Tennikoit association Ganderbal also congratulated the organizers of this event. He also said that in future more and more such events would be conducted in this area of this Ganderbal which will bring out the hidden talent of this area.

The Ganderbal TenniKoit Association also expressed its gratitude to the Chief Guest, and all dignitaries for their valuable presence and support
