Bandipora, February 24: Today, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shakeel Ur Rehman paid a visit to the Transit Accommodation in Odina village, Sumbal, to inspect the living arrangements and guarantee the utmost safety, hygienic conditions, and comfort for the migrant workers living there.
The Deputy Commissioner evaluated the facilities’ amenities, accessibility, and general cleanliness during the visit, paying close attention to any possible areas that would need improvement.
The Deputy Commissioner solicited input from the staff members living there in order to resolve any problems and raise the standard of services rendered.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need of upholding high standards in transit housing and emphasized the administration’s dedication to offering safe, hygienic, and comfortable living quarters for migrant workers.
A group of migrant workers previously met with the Deputy Commissioner in Sumbal to inform him of a number of concerns. The delegation was granted a patient hearing by Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, who also promised to respond quickly on any legitimate concerns.
