Sopore, 12 November: The local population of Sopore town and adjoining villages organised a peaceful candle march to condemn the recent Red Fort incident and express solidarity with the victims and their families.
Residents from all sections of society participated, carrying candles and placards promoting peace and unity. Speakers strongly condemned terrorism in all forms, terming it a cowardly act aimed at disturbing harmony.
A two-minute silence was observed for the victims. The event concluded with a collective pledge to uphold peace, resilience, and communal harmony.
