Bandipora Dec 07:The District Administration Bandipora on thursday celebrated Armed Forces Flag Day to honor both soldiers serving in India’s armed forces as well as veterans.
The program was chaired by ADDC Bandipora Mohd Ashraf Hakak and was attended by ADC Bandipora, ACP Bandipora, District Officers, officers from Zila Sainik Welfare and other concerned.
Hakak said It is our obligation to honor the martyrs and surviving heroes as well as their families who played a key role in this sacrifice.
He said all the citizens should voluntarily contribute towards the noble cause that extends various welfare schemes to ex-servicemen fraternity and their dependents.
The program also witnessed fund raising event to contribute generously to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund.
