Budgam, February 26: Athar Aamir Khan (IAS) today formally assumed charge as the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam during a ceremonial handover held in the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner Budgam.
He took over the responsibilities from Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-din Bhat (IAS). The charge was assumed in the presence of several senior officers of the district administration.
Among those present on the occasion were Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Budgam Mehraj-ud-din Shah, Joint Director Planning, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Budgam, all Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), District Information Officer (DIO) Budgam, and other senior officers of the district. The new Deputy Commissioner was accorded a warm welcome by the officers present.
After assuming charge, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the senior officers of the district and discussed administrative matters. He expressed his gratitude to the officers and officials present at the ceremony for their cooperation and support.
