Srinagar, August 7: After the Gujarat conman issue, a couple has been arrested for posing as fake IAS and IPS officers and duping people.
The duo has been identified as Manmohan Ganjoo and his wife Ayoush Ganjoo, residents of Bhagaat Srinagar.
Giving details, police said that Manmohan Ganjoo was a suspended police man and the duo were carrying different electronic gadgets and documents like fake appointment and transfer letters.
Police recovered jewellery, cash and other incriminating material from their possession.
A case in this regard under FIR no 73 of 2023 under sections 170, 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC has been registered against them in Sadder police station.
