Since the revocation of Special status for j&k and federal asymmetry , the electoral landscape of sonawari Assembly segment has been utterly changed and With the process of delimitation the revised electoral map drawn by delimitation panel the sonawari Constituency have been readjusted in the alignment process the most important and pro-active Naidkhai block have been merged with bandipora Constituency which have been remained always navel of sonawari segment while some other areas of Ajas have been added with sonawari Constituency which were early part of bandipora Constituency and with this process of setting new electoral map the epicenter of Sonawari has also shifted from Naidkhai ( home to Mohammad Akber lone) to Hajin the proces further stipulated elecotral landscape and political scenario in Sonawari
