Srinagar: In a strong commitment towards building a healthier and drug-free society, the Welfare Educational Institute (Charitable), Higher Secondary School for Orphans (Government Recognized), run by the Muslim Welfare Society, has intensified its anti-drug awareness initiatives under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan.
The institution organized a series of awareness programmes, interactive sessions, and community outreach activities aimed at educating students and the general public about the harmful effects of drug abuse. Emphasizing the importance of a disciplined and healthy lifestyle, the campaign encourages youth to stay away from drugs and actively contribute to a safer society.
During one such awareness programme, SHO Batamaloo Srinagar, Waseem Ahmad, along with Allayee Faizan (Secretary, Kashmir School Federation), the school principal, staff members, and students, actively participated and addressed the gathering.
Through such meaningful initiatives, the institute continues to play a vital role in shaping responsible citizens and strengthening the movement towards a drug-free Jammu & Kashmir.
