NIFT Srinagar Student Wins Gold at IndiaSkills National Competition

Srinagar: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Srinagar, proudly announces a remarkable achievement by one of its students at the prestigious IndiaSkills National Competition.

Diksha, a Semester VI student from the Fashion Design Department, has secured first position, winning the Gold Medal along with a cash prize of ₹1,00,000.

IndiaSkills, recognized as the country’s premier skill-based competition, brings together the most talented youth from across India to compete across a wide range of disciplines. Diksha’s outstanding performance reflects not only her individual dedication, creativity, and technical excellence but also the rigorous academic and practical training imparted at NIFT Srinagar.

Her achievement stands as a testament to the institute’s commitment to nurturing innovation, craftsmanship, and industry-ready talent in the field of design education. The faculty and administration have expressed immense pride in her accomplishment, noting that such milestones reinforce NIFT Srinagar’s growing reputation as a center of excellence in fashion and design.

Building on this national success, Diksha will now go on to represent India at the International Skills Competition in China, where she will compete with top participants from across the globe. This opportunity marks a significant milestone in her professional journey and provides her with an international platform to showcase her talent and skills.

The Director of NIFT Srinagar congratulated Diksha, stating:
