Sopore: The Sopore Police Martyrs Memorial T-20 Knockout Cricket Tournament 2024-25 concluded successfully on February 25, 2025. The tournament, which began on December 24, 2024, at MET Ground Sopore, featured 32 teams with players from Police District Sopore.
The final match was a thrilling contest between Seer Eleven and Students Cricket Club Warpora, with Students Cricket Club Warpora emerging victorious by just 1 run. The closing ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including Deputy Inspector General of Police North Kashmir Range Baramulla Shri. Maqsood ul Zaman-IPS, and SP Sopore Smt. Divya D-IPS, who distributed cash prizes and trophies to the winners and runners-up.
The event aimed to promote sports and encourage young talent, while also honoring the sacrifices of J&K Police martyrs. Sopore Police assured participants that they would continue to support and organize such events in the future.
