Jammu, Dec 4: The recent landslide victories secured by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh have been heralded as a pivotal turning point, setting the stage for a resolute trajectory toward the 2024 general elections. This triumph, as heralded by BJP’s Sham Lal Gupta, Chairman of the Anticrime Bureau (ACB) NGO, resonates as a testament to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s indispensable leadership, steering Bharat towards prosperity across various facets of the nation’s growth.
Gupta, in his reflections on the electoral successes, fervently underlined the unwavering support demonstrated by the populace, showcasing a decisive dismissal of divisive politics. He emphasized the populace’s aversion to the Congress party’s direct attacks on Sanatan Dharma, noting that these rebuffs only fortified the BJP’s resolve to work tirelessly for the welfare of the people. According to Gupta, this strong backing is propelling Bharat toward global recognition as an economic powerhouse, rooted in its cultural ethos.

The comfortable victories in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh were attributed to the electorate’s preference for developmental agendas over divisive rhetoric. Gupta highlighted the electorate’s yearning for progress and their unequivocal rejection of the Congress’ narratives. The resounding electoral outcomes resolutely signal the nation’s inclination toward development, repudiating any politics rooted in animosity or division.
Drawing attention to noteworthy individual performances in Chhattisgarh, Gupta underscored the significance of these state elections as a pivotal precursor to the impending Lok Sabha elections in 2024.

The classical template of how to fight By-elections in Punjab was created by Akali Dal under Sukhbir Singh Badal during their ambitious “25 Saal Raaj” project.Immediately after a By-election was announced, the elder Badal (Parkash Singh) would descend like a “Santa Claus” on the constituency and shower money to Villages and Cities through Sangat Darshans. This was followed by Sukhbir Badal and Bikram Majithia and their team of “Halka Incharges” who would set up tents in each village and Mohalla of the constituency and began to do “Kam” of the public by providing ration cards, NAREGA work, Motor Connections, Pucca streets and other popular demands.Support of Key pressure groups like Farmer Unions and Deras would be secured by individual and group concessions.

The most vigorous, visible and energetic campaign at Jalandhar was waged by BJP .Its hoardings, pamphlets and posters are plastered all over the city. Its leaders were busy in waging door to door campaigns and attending road shows in support of the Akali import Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal .Its workers rode about in motorcycle rallies. Its main campaign slogan was “Jalandhar da Sankalp, Bhajpa hi Vikalap “ (Jalandhars Resolution, Only BJP is the alternative). BJP should improve its showing from the 2022 elections ,doing very well in the cities and getting a breakthrough in the rural areas. It can even replace Akali-BSP to secure the third position in Jalandhar which would come handy for the saffron party if it renegotiates a new contract with Akali Dal in 2024.

The famed war machine , once the most formidable in Punjab under Sukhbir Badal looked a pale shadow of its former self.Despite a very good candidates of bjp and a formidable alliance in paper with BSP in the rural areas ,Akali campaign failed to take off. A decade without power and sans its core ideology and social base, bjp is fast evaporating as a political party. Bjp would be very lucky if they retain their third spot against a resurgent parties.

BJP after its “black swan “ moment at Sangrur should be back at its former position of being among those who have lost their security deposit by a long margin.

Although, forecasting is a perilous business and like all forecasts this one is also a subjective exercise not based on any survey but just on personal impressions, in my opinion AAP has an edge at Jalandhar followed by Congress with Akalis and BJP fighting it out for the third place .
He reiterated that the triumphs bear witness to the pro-people policies of the Narendra Modi-led government, ensuring that welfare schemes designed for the underprivileged are reaching them effectively.
In light of the evolving political landscape, Gupta’s insights reflect a prevailing sentiment that underlines Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership as pivotal for Bharat to actualize its full potential and emerge as a formidable global force. The BJP now stands poised as a frontrunner for the impending 2024 elections, fortified by its recent electoral victories and bolstered by a platform centered on progress, unity, and inclusive development.
The stage is undeniably set for a significant political metamorphosis, wherein the BJP’s track record and commitment to national welfare stand as cornerstones, positioning the party as the frontrunner to lead Bharat into a new era of growth, progress, and global recognition. The resolute mandate expressed by the populace in these states serves as a clarion call for a future characterized by progress, development, and unity under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
