Srinagar, Sep 05: The Directorate of Skill Development, Jammu and Kashmir, celebrated a momentous Teachers’ Day on September 5th,2023, at Kashmir Government Polytechnic College Srinagar.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both the staff and students of the Polytechnic and ITI sectors.
Mr. Saurabh Bhagat, (IAS) delivered an inspiring and thought-provoking address, sharing his valuable insights and experiences in the field of technical education. During his speech, He stressed on Faculty Development Programmes for improvement of quality of technical education in Skill Development Department. Faculty development is essential to ensuring that our students receive the best possible technical education. Our faculty must be constantly learning and evolving in order to keep up with the latest trends in their fields. They must also be able to effectively communicate their knowledge to students in a way that is engaging and stimulating.
Industry-institution interaction is another important aspect of student development. By interacting with industry professionals, students can gain valuable insights into the real world and learn about the skills and knowledge that are in demand. They can also build relationships with potential employers, which can give them a head start in their careers.
I believe that all three of these areas are essential to ensuring that our students receive a high-quality technical education.
I am committed to work with the faculty, students, and administration to make sure that we are doing everything we can to support faculty development, personality development, and industry institution interaction.
His presence added great significance to the event and motivated all participants.
