Sumbal, 25 May: The Residents of Inderkote Sumbal area in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday held a protest against the Jal Shakti Department alleging that they have been facing a severe shortage of drinking water for past weeks.
The protestors claim that despite repeated complaints to the department, no action has been taken to address the issue.
A local resident said that lack of access to clean drinking water poses a significant health risk to the residents of the area.
They Appealed authorities to intervene and resolve their genuine demand on priority basis.
