New Delhi, September 8: Ahead of G20 summit which is all set to begin here tomorrow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a bilateral talk with US President Joe Biden.
This was the most awaited meeting and more than the Summit all eyes were on this meet.
The meet was held at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in Delhi.
In a tweet, PMO said, “Prime Minister @narendramodi and @POTUS @JoeBiden are holding talks at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in Delhi. Their discussions include a wide range of issues and will further deepen the bond between India and USA.”
The US side also included Treasury secretary Janet Yellen, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and National Security Advisor (NSA) Jake Sullivan.
Minister for External Affairs S. Jaishankar and NSA Ajit Doval were present from Indian side.
US national security adviser Jake Sullivan had said that Biden will make a strong push for the reform of multilateral development banks (MDBs) with a proposal to enhance the financial capability of these institutions to address challenges of poverty elimination, boosting prosperity and addressing the climate crisis.
PM Modi will hold almost 15 such bilateral meets in next two days.
