Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Friday issued a provisional calendar for sittings of its Budget session which is scheduled to begin with Governor’s address on November March 3.
For the first time in seven years, an elected government will present the budget on March 7, according to Provisional Calendar issued by Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather. Budget session discussion on motion of thanks on Governor’s address will be on March 4 and 5 while discussion on motion of thanks on LG address and reply thereof will be conducted on March 6, stated the document,.
The Presentation of Annual Financial Statement of Expenditure for the Year 2025-26 will be on March 7. The same date has been fixed for Presentation of Supplementary Statement of Expenditure for the Year 2024-2025 (GNS)
