On the sidelines of the ongoing BRICS MENA Consultations, Dr. Neena Malhotra, Secretary (South) in India’s Ministry of External Affairs, met with Mahdi Shoushtari, Iran’s Special Envoy for the Middle East.
During the meeting, the two officials exchanged views on the evolving regional situation, reflecting shared concerns and perspectives on developments across West Asia. BRICS MENA Consultations provided the platform for the interaction, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss regional dynamics.
Both sides also reviewed aspects of bilateral relations between India and Iran, underlining the importance of continued diplomatic engagement and cooperation.
