Srinagar: Meer Kounsar, District Ambassador (Public Welfare Awareness) of the International Human Rights Crime Control Council (IHRCCC), today held a meeting with the Assistant Food Controller and Assistant Drug Controller at Bemina, Srinagar.
During the meeting, several key issues related to Kashmir Division were discussed in detail. The deliberations primarily focused on food safety, quality control, drug regulation, public health concerns, and consumer awareness.
Meer Kounsar emphasized the urgent need for strict monitoring and enforcement to curb the sale of substandard food items and medicines in the district. He also stressed the importance of enhancing public awareness about food and drug safety laws and ensuring prompt redressal of public complaints.
The Assistant Food Controller and Assistant Drug Controller assured full cooperation and reiterated their commitment to strengthening enforcement mechanisms and safeguarding public health in Kashmir Division
The meeting concluded with a mutual resolve to enhance coordination and collaboration between the International Human Rights Crime Control Council and concerned government departments for the overall welfare of the public.
