Ganderbal, 29, OCTOBER: Ganderbal police on Sunday busted a female pick pocket gang in Kangan are of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
According to press release Police Station Kangan has been receiving inputs about gang of notorious persons in the area of police station Kangan,
Picking pockets in the area looted comman people, especially at SDH hospital Ganderbal’s Kangan.
After soon the incident. Police station kangan launched the team in the area to nab them on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar.
A special team was constituted by SHO Police Station Kangan beside him Inspector Turk Zahoor under the supervision of SDPO Kangan.
The Police Team with the help of local sources set a trap at Kangan Market and nabed atleast Three Ladies (Names withheld) were apprehended red-handed,
Meanwhile, all the females tried to escape from the spot with all the stolen money approximately Twenty five thousand, timely Action by the Police Party all accused were arrested and the stolen cash was recovered from her profession and was seized immediately.
A case has been registered at police station Kangan under the FIR No. 118/2023 under relevant sections of law and investigation is on motion in this regard
