Srinagar Mar. 4: An avalanche warning with a medium degree of danger was issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority on Monday for five districts in the state.
An advice states that in the next 24 hours, an avalanche with a medium hazard level is anticipated to occur above 2200 meters across the districts of Kishtwar, Kupwara, Bandipora, and Baramulla.
Over the course of the next day, more avalanches with a high hazard level are expected to occur over 2200 meters over the Ganderbal district.
It is recommended that residents of these locations exercise caution and stay away from avalanche-prone areas until additional instructions are given.
