Srinagar, August 12: National Conference president Dr. Farooq Abdullah has called for sincere talks between India and Pakistan on Kashmir to end the spree of killings.
He said that people don’t want any optics anymore and sincere efforts should be put in place to address the Kashmir issue.
Addressing a public meeting in south Kashmir, he said that if talks could be held with China, why not with Pakistan for the betterment of people of Kashmir.
“Those who are saying that things are alright in Kashmir and terrorism has ended then why are these killings happening on a daily basis. It is the time to hold talks and put an end to the killings,” he added.
