The National Youth Festival, celebrated annually from 12th to 16th January to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, aims to promote the ideals of unity, integrity, and youth empowerment. The district-level competitions served as a preparatory stage for zonal and state-level events, focusing on thematic presentations, cultural performances, life skill activities, and innovation-based exhibitions.

Participants showcased their talent in a variety of activities including folk songs, folk dances, thematic presentations, poetry, story writing, and painting, besides exhibitions under the Science Mela category. The festival provided a vibrant platform for young individuals to exhibit leadership, creativity, and cultural diversity, fostering the spirit of National Integration and Viksit Bharat.

Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Zaffar Husson Shawl, and Padma Shri Awardee, Faisal Ali Dar were present on the occasion. The ADC appreciated the enthusiasm of participating youth and lauded the efforts of the organizers for providing them with a constructive platform to express their talent. He highlighted that such initiatives help nurture young leadership and strengthen the vision of a progressive and united nation.
