Bandipora police acts tough against drug peddler; freezes account

Bandipora, August 1: Acting tough against drug peddlers, Bandipora police today froze two bank accounts of a drug peddler of Hajin area of the district.

Giving details, police said that the two bank accounts having savings of Rs 23174 belonging to Irshad Ahmed Wani, son of Habibullah Wani, a resident of Bangar Mohalla of Hajin, were frozen under the NDPS Act.

Police said that the money was acquired illegally through the sale of narcotics.
